TIPS About When to Visit Theme Parks at Universal Epic Universe: If Harry Potter is open and you have early entry, you want to go straight to that line and it will cut your wait down from 3 hours to 30 minutes to an hour and a half. We would advise Super Nintendo World early as it has by far the most crowded world.
Then we would hit Isle of Berk as it has a water ride to cool off if you desire. Dark World is best at night and is by far the least crowded. Monsters unchained is amazing, Stardust Racer is also a must if you like big coasters, the wait time shifts so do it when it is less than an hour.

Overview:
This is one of our favorite budget hotels in Orlando! It’s excellent value for money, super clean and a perfect base for Universal.
We always stay in the Volcano view rooms as these are located in the newer towers and the rooms are modern and spotless.
Benefits:
Early park access.
The food court here has something for everyone and the pools are great fun.
We never waited more than a minute for a bus to Universal and the ability to walk straight into Volcano.
Universal Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn
Overview:
Surfside suites and rooms were brilliant. Great location. Access to shuttles and early admission to the parks was amazing.
The room was cleaned every day. Pool lifeguards brilliant Coffee machine in room great!
Benefits:
Early park access.
Extra blankets and pillows are in cupboard should you need! Storage under beds for suitcases.
The pool is a lovely area and the buses to universal/volcano bay were frequent. The Starbucks in the lobby was a godsend for morning coffee.

Beautiful Family Hotel
Benefits:
A completely family hotel that is on International Drive with direct transport to the parks. Has very good food.
Pools fantastic, two large ones with plenty of sun beds, towels and lifeguards.
Universal Epic Universe Tickets
Universal Epic Universe Tickets — What Families Need to Know
One-day tickets to Universal's Epic Universe are available for purchase on the Universal app and can be used starting June 1, 2025. These tickets provide access to the park for one day and are separate from multi-day Universal Orlando tickets, which currently include one day of Epic Universe access.
Universal Epic Universe is an amazing new theme park, but right now it’s not included in the regular “park-to-park” tickets that cover Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. That means if guests want to visit Universal Epic Universe on the same day as one of the other parks, they’ll need to use two separate days of their tickets.
How the Tickets Work:
Base and Park-to-Park tickets work the same way for the three existing parks.
Universal Epic Universe requires a separate ticket day — it’s not part of the usual park-to-park pass yet.
If guests want to visit Universal Epic Universe and another park on the same day, they’ll need to use two days of their ticket, because the day at Epic Universe counts as one full day.

What To Know: FAQs
🚐 How do we get to Universal Epic Universe from the other Universal parks?
Universal Epic Universe is located about 15–20 minutes away from Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. The easiest way to get there is by car or shuttle bus—there’s no walking path between the parks.
🗓️ How many days should we spend at Universal Epic Universe?
If your family wants to explore more than one of the themed worlds (like SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ or How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk), we recommend two days. One day may be enough for a quick visit, but to enjoy all the rides, shows, and food without rushing—especially with kids—two days is ideal.
Even with Express Passes, it’s unlikely you’ll see and do everything in one day.
